SID COMES OUT

Anachronisms guitarist Sid Herpes stunned the musical world today with an admission that over the years he, too, has become bourgeois.

"I have sinned!" he exclaimed tearfully to an auditorium packed with delirious young women. "I have tasted the pleasures of the pelf!"

When asked by reporters what measures Mr. Herpes would take to expiate his sin, his porte-parole and massage therapist D. D. Nemours announced that Mr. Herpes would immediately be changing his name to Sid BMW.

As for other actions Mr. BMW might take, she referred the reporters to the Anachronisms' gospel hit "I Want to be Saved," in particular the last two lines of the chorus.
