What has happened to the hallowed, traditional Christmas songs of yesteryear? As a boy I remember meditating on the deep significance of Christmas while listening reverently to "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," but do Johnny Mathis and Brenda Lee get knighthoods/damehoods? Noooooo.

Thank God (sic) that the Anachronisms have continued this tradition of fine Christmas music with "I Got My Mistletoe Working." As I listened to this song on Christmas Eve in the company of both my wives and our children, I experienced an even deeper awe at the profound meaning of our traditional Christmas symbols, such as the annual Anachronisms Christmas disc.
