Anachronisms fans (Sid and Doris Bonkers) are agog at the news of the discovery of a stash of Anachro songs written in 1996 and 1997 but never recorded. The songs, written by Sid Herpes, were rehearsed by the Toronto-based members of the band, but got shunted aside during a period of infrequent recording. Mr. Herpes, who has a long history of alternative "vitamin" treatment, was apparently under the impression that the songs had been recorded.
The Anchovies have now recorded one of these songs, "Dream Girl". Their recording features a stunning vocal by Hector LaPaunche.
