I would add to Rupert's post the welcome recognition that we in the Lumpy community feel has been given by the Anchovies song Lumpy People. Too long have we been subjected to the opprobrium of conventional stereotyping.

Further data analysis guided by Rupert's suggestions is under way. Well, it will soon be under way. It will be under way in the near future, we can promise you that.

This prompts the reflection that modernity's Freudian fear of matters excretile is only one of several taboos that are continually confronted by the metamusical "lads". Others include; senility (e.g. Senility High), death (Kierkegaarde Goes to Disneyland, Orbis Terroris - which also confronts the deepest of religious sentiments - "Hell is a world where you never, ever die") attachment (Involved), consumer sovereignty (You May Think He's a Cat), perversion (Why Do They Call Me a Pervert?, There are So Many Loonies in the World), etc., etc.. It's quite paradoxical, therefore, that the Anachros are by far the most popular metamusical ensemble.
